July 2012 – $135,000.00 settlement in a trip and fall case. Our client suffered a neck injury when she fell and she had neck surgery. We hired an expert to inspect the ramp on which our client fell. The expert issued a report detailing the defective nature of the ramp, and so we were able to prove the case based on negligence.
August 2012 – $105,500.00 settlement of a trip and fall case. Our client suffered a torn hamstring when he fell while going down some steps. The steps were at a medical office, and there was no way to leave the office without using steps. This violated the accessibility code and we were able to prove the case based on negligence.
November 2012 – $20,000 policy limit settlement in a car accident case. Our client had been involved in car accidents both before and after the accident that we were handling for her. The other driver was at fault and totaled our client’s car. We were able to obtain the policy limits for our client.
